“They sure have a big house.” (watching the Brady Bunch)
I overheard him saying this when he was playing by himself with action figures and cars etc.
"Watch and learn everyone,...watch and learn".
"You're not so berry good at that mom". About making the W H(wh)sound. (He's learning how to blend sounds in preschool. So we were practicing together in the car. He would sit there and correct me.)
"I'm just a little bit shy about that."
"I'm gonna miss Kara when she goes back home to Oregon. I think I'm gonna cry. I think that maybe I'm gonna miss her and that will make me sad and maybe make me cry."

In a perfect world...
I am feeling a little overwhelmed today realizing Christmas is approaching fast and I have a lot to do. Being out for a week (surgery) has really set me back with getting things done. Oh well... I will just do what I can and try not to stress over everything else I can't. This will be good practice for me, of prioritizing and getting only the most important things done.
In a perfect world, laundry would be done and put away, the house would be clean, the toy's organized, every room in the house organized, windows, baseboards and shutters washed (no dust), christmas shopping done, small children could wipe their own bums, Christmas cards already sent, mom's wouldn't have to clean up after everyone else's pee (including their husbands). I guess I just need to come to terms with, there is no perfect world, do not expect there to be a perfect world, do not expect to be perfect in this world, and certainly expect those around you to be perfect either. Bums will still need to be wiped, houses will still get messy, and the pee will not go away... unless of course you start sending them outside to do their business. Then maybe at least your bathrooms could stay clean, and that would be pretty darn close to a perfect world for me =).
